Paralegal - Banking - Leveraged Finance The candidate will responsible for providing excellent client service, technical, and project support in accordance with A&O's best practices. This role works under the guidance of the Leveraged Finance partners as well as the US paralegal manager. Leveraged Finance partners and associates, Fellow paralegal team members Conducting in-depth legal research on domestic and international topics, Writing brief summaries on relevant topics or findings from legal research, Participating in due diligence investigations by reviewing documents and providing organizational assistance, Assisting with closings and the preparation of closing sets to be sent to the client and other parties, Interacting with service providers to submit filings and order documents, Drafting client-facing memos and presentations on a variety of topics, Working on pro bono matters as opportunities become available are required. Four-year bachelor's degree with strong academic background, Excellent organizational, communication, research, time management, and writing skills, Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Ability to interact professionally with clients and employees at all levels of the organization, Strong Word, Excel, and PDF skills, Familiarity with iManage or a similar tool a plus but not required, Demonstrated interest in the Leveraged Finance or banking space would be a plus, but not required.
