Paralegal - Professional Liability litigation The candidate will responsibilities are routine in nature but candidate must be able to handle non-routine situations, problems and deviations; must use independent judgment and initiative to determine approach or action to take in non-routine situations. Will handle responsibilities include preparing pre-hearing briefs; monitoring deadlines; monitoring and managing attorney mail; preparing file summaries/file analysis; conducting necessary discovery to prepare for litigation; conducting legal research; preparing correspondence to clients/attorneys/other facilities; scheduling of depositions/ etc. Should have 5+ years of pqe. Must have complex litigation experience and knowledge of both Federal and State Rules as well as Malpractice experience. Complex Litigation experience is needed. Knowledge of Federal and State Rules is needed. Must have knowledge of preparing drafts: request, response, pleading, order, motion, etc. Requires strong computer skills with 55+ wpm is needed.
