Immigration and Litigation Attorney The candidate will be overseeing and handing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications, including L-1, O-1, E-2, PERM, EB-1, EB-2 NIW petitions. Overseeing and handing family-based immigrant visa applications, including VAWA petitions, removal of condition applications, and waivers of inadmissibility based on extreme hardship. Defending removal proceedings, attending immigration court master and individual hearings, preparing motions and briefs in immigration court proceedings. Assisting in litigation matters including employment cases, commercial disputes, and other matters. Should have 2 years of Immigration law experience and 3-4 years as an immigration attorney with New York Bar License. Bar membership is preferred. Must have admission in NY or NJ. The ability to speak Russian is a plus. Relevant experience to oversee and handle a busy and growing immigration practice, along with assisting in firm's litigation matters required.
