Paralegal - Workers' Compensation/immigration The candidate will work on Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) e-forms filing (NOT JET FILE), INSZoom case management and e-filing. Will be responsible for all case management, administration, daily maintenance of all workers compensation and immigration cases. Responsible for meetings with clients to conduct initial intake interview; provide case status updates; obtain necessary supporting documentation. Will be responsible for the proper calendaring of all hearings, as well as appearances, including those appearances in which an Attorney and/or Principal Attorneys presence is required. Responsible for contacting adjusters or opposing counsel to resolve issues including, but not limited to: clients benefit, medical referrals; requests for authorization; deposition scheduling; PQME/AME requests. Responsible for completing tasks in a manner that ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Firm policies. Should have excellent writing skills, ability to effectively priority multitask, Communication Proficiency. (Fluent-Spanish), Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel. Must have experience in MyCase or similar cloud based client management software.
