Paralegal The candidate will be revising, cite-checking and assisting with filing trial and appellate briefs, mediation submissions and memoranda; trial preparation, including deposition preparation, hearings and status conferences; researching applicable local rules in multiple jurisdictions for briefing compliance; drafting pro hac vice motions and assisting with drafting affidavits and declarations supporting dispositive motions; preparing exhibits and evidence for same; drafting and revising non-legal correspondence to clients and outside counsel; and assisting with discovery phase of litigation, including reviewing and preparing production of documents, coordinating with technical support and outside vendors, and analyzing documents received from other parties. Must be a college graduate with a strong academic record, effective communication skills and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive practice.
