Bilingual Immigration Attorney (Spanish) The candidate' must have: (1) J.D. from an ABA accredited law school; (2) membership in good standing with any state bar, though Virginia State Bar membership is preferred; (3) strong oral and verbal communication skills; (4) working proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred; and (5) a strong interest in the practice of immigration law. Responsibilities include: (1) representation of clients at administrative and judicial hearings, and administrative interviews; (2) preparation of motions, briefs, and memoranda as required; (3) review, revision, and oversight of immigration applications; and (4) client consultations as required. Also desired are a sense of humor, ability to be flexible, strong leadership and management of large case load and fast-approaching deadlines; most importantly, a desire to help people change their lives for the better.Interested applicants may send a resume, cover letter, a list of three professional or academic references.
