Workers' Compensation Paralegal The candidate will perform legal support assignments of a routine nature of moderate difficulty by working with the attorney(s) and team mates daily to move the file forward. This position involves a wide variety of specifically delegated substantive legal work and organization and administrative duties. Work is performed with some autonomy for the exercise of independent judgment and actions. Assignments and duties require a thorough knowledge of workers' compensation defense practices and concepts. Must have ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with the public, attorneys, court officials, adjusters and clients. Candidates should be proficient in the Microsoft office suite and familiar with records management systems. ProLaw knowledge and experience is a plus. Candidates must also have knowledge of concepts, terminology and procedures of workers' compensation and functions, jurisdictions of local and state courts and administrative bodies.
