Trademark Paralegal Candidate will provide support for U.S. and foreign trademark activities, while working as part of a team of attorneys and support staff to offer a high level of service to both domestic and international clients. Requires excellent time management skills and precision to detail in order to effectively manage trademark portfolios of varying size. Must have: Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program is preferred. 2+ years of experience as a Trademark Paralegal in a law firm experience is preferred. Proficient with electronic research tools such as USPTO and WIPO databases; and USPTO trademark filing systems. Broad knowledge of U.S. and foreign trademark rules and procedures. Efficient and effective in legal research and possesses a high degree of competency in on-line research tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Superior attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and strong organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals in all levels of the firm. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy/low percentage of errors. Ability to adapt and accept changes in job responsibilities based on the strategic goals of the firm. Ability to exhibit sound judgment, maintain confidentiality and use discretion. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor that effectively represents the firm. Ability to show initiative and accept accountability for projects. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines.
