Cyber Insurance Coverage Attorney Duties: Providing insurance coverage advice for complex first and third party insurance claims submitted under cyber insurance policies. Working on high-profile, cutting edge issues on behalf of London and domestic insurers. Concentrate on the review and analysis of claims submitted under insurance policies covering data privacy and cyber risks. Many of these claims involve highly-publicized regulatory investigations and lawsuits involving data breach incidents and evolving areas of privacy law. Will liaise with policyholders and brokers, and report to insurers regarding available coverage, liability and damages evaluation and resolution strategies. Will speak regularly with defense counsel in connection with the defense of domestic and international claims and engage in high-level strategy discussions with insurers, defense counsel and policyholders. While the position is tied, in part, to litigation management and dispute resolution for covered claims. Qualifications: Excellent academic credentials. Admitted to the California Bar. 2+ years' working on insurance coverage matters, Litigation experience helpful. Strong team player, Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills, Exceptional attention to detail, Strong organizational and time management skills.
