Entry-Level Paralegal The candidate will be joining a litigation team in a law firm specializing in commercial and consumer collections. Must have 1+ years of actual paralegal experience. Should have knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure and Pleading and Practice with regard to Summons and Complaint preparation and filing, settlement agreement, stipulation preparation. Be computer proficient in Word and Excel with at least basic knowledge of programs such as legal solutions and Hot Docs, including Judicial Council Forms. Should be able to work independently, switch gears at a moment s notice and handle a large case load in a fast-paced office environment. Basic discovery and basic law and motion are a plus.
