Asbestos Litigation Paralegal Candidates will to perform a broad range of case-related duties under the supervision of an attorney. Tasks include case planning, development and management; legal research from library sources and/or using Lexis or other computer-assisted research program(s) selected by the Firm; fact gathering and retrieving information; drafting and analyzing legal documents; collecting, compiling, and utilizing technical information to make independent decisions and recommendations to supervising attorneys. May provide computer-assisted litigation support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, certificate of completion from an ABA-approved Paralegal program, and 3-5 years' Asbestos paralegal experience. Minimum billable hour requirement of 1600 hours per year. Intermediate skill level and knowledge of the following technologies is preferred: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Concordance, Opticon, iPro, Case Map, Legal Solutions Plus, Live Note, Sanction II.8, Ribstone Systems and Lexis Advance.
