Associate Attorney The candidate will understand the foreclosure process. Will draft pleadings and motions. Represent client at contested and uncontested hearings. Communicate with clients on issues that may affect the foreclosure and advise on possible courses of action and likely range of outcomes. Handle a large caseload while attending hearings and overseeing paralegal staff. Meet billable hour goals monthly. Should have a J.D. degree with NC Bar admission and preferably NC / SC dual licensure. Must have 1-2 years practice of law. Basic understand of the foundations of secured debt, unsecured debt, default, and collections (focus on U.C.C. rules, mortgages, and contracts) is required. Basic understanding of real property law, title to real and personal property, evictions is needed. Should have legal research and academic writing skills. Ability to travel to court and operate with minimal oversight is required
