Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: E-file through various courts CM/ECF System and PTAB E2E System. Manage large, complex, and/or document intensive litigation matters. Prepare and review case files, discovery and trial documents in all phases of case management. Review and outline depositions. Prepare documents in preparation of depositions. Coordination with third party vendors when needed. Deposition and Process Server coordination and scheduling. Indexing, summarizing, and coding documents. Heavy Blue-booking and cite checking. Establish, organize, and maintain attorney trial notebooks, witness notebooks, document indexes, privilege logs, and exhibit lists. Maintain document databases and perform database searches related to various litigation projects. Maintain court and deposition calendars. Prepare trial and deposition exhibits. Trial preparation and trial experience including attendance and assistance at trial when needed. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred. Must have 3 years of litigation paralegal experience required. Experience with PACER and filing practices and procedures in U.S. District Courts, Courts of Appeal, and International Trade Commission including all e-filing and hand-filing practices and procedures. Experience with E2E system and filing practices and procedures in PTAB including all e-filing practices and procedures. Experience with all phases of e-discovery. Experience in Summation (or other document database software), and Court Reporting/Transcription Software. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly and easily. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to balance multiple tasks with proven time management skills.
