Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate will prepare signature packages. Update organizational charts on SmartDraw and Visio. Finalize closing binders and send out to client. Look up Facility Info Sheet (HFCIS). Organize and send out minute books. Organization- Opening and closing files, taking notes during meetings, sending out closing letters, M&A Calendaring, File organization. Tracking MCLEs. Draft and compile manager certificates, no change certificates and officer certificates. Draft Perfection Certificates. Assist with populating HUD forms. Word processing for transactional documents and redlining. Order Certified Articles and Good Standings for transactions. Draft District Office letters for CHOWs. Prepare all forms and documents for Medicare and Medi-Cal/Medicaid licensing, change of ownership applications, and other pertaining documents including organizational documents (articles, operating agreements, resolutions). File CMS CHOW via PECOS. File 25102(f) forms. Use of ShareFile to send large files. Conduct UCC lien and litigation searches; prepare summaries. Send, receive, and compile signature sets (either originals or HelloSign). Must have exceptional Document Processing and Organizational skills. Should have 5+ years of experience working under the supervision of an attorney. Must have Four-year college degree. Document Management Software Experience a plus.
