Paralegal-Litigation and Bankrupcty Creditor's Rights The candidate will assist attorneys in performing legal tasks in research, document production and overall legal support to the attorneys practice in commercial litigation and bankruptcy creditor rights matters. Should have 2 years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy, creditor s rights (foreclosure, proceedings supplementary, etc.), and general litigation. Should have experience preparing motions for relief from the automatic stay, objections to bankruptcy plans, proofs of claim, demand letters, and loan document review memorandums. Have proficiency e-filing through CM/ECF and the Florida E-Portal and experience with PACER and Simplifile. Have working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure (state and federal), Bankruptcy Rules of Procedure, and local rules for Duval, Clay and St. Johns County, as well as the Middle District of Florida. Should have experience Bates labeling, preparing privilege logs and trial notebooks, issuing subpoenas, calendaring, creating and organizing case files, legal research and discovery. Must preferably have proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience with Summation, Lexis Nexis or Westlaw, and PowerPoint.
