Demand & Settlement Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for legal and administrative tasks during the demand and settlement phases of personal injury cases. Duties include: Interact with clients; Update and maintain all case information and activities in an organized manner; Obtain all final reports, medical documentation, and other appropriate data; Prepare demand packages for attorney review; Prepare settlement statements for attorney review; Send and confirm receipt of information to adjusters; Timely follow up and response; Schedule client meetings; Complete file closing tasks; Prepare and send correspondence as needed; Process scans/mail received daily; Assist with phone coverage as needed. The candidate should preferably have a AS degree in legal studies or paralegal certification. Personal injury paralegal experience is required. Proficiency in the demand and settlement phases of a personal injury case is needed. Extensive experience interacting with clients is necessary. Professional written and verbal communication skills (grammar, spelling, tone) are must. Excellent service skills are required. Efficient time management skills are essential. Needles software experience is a plus.
