Litigation Paralegal The candidate will draft client communications - initial welcome letter / client phone calls and keep client updated on case status throughout the litigation process, to include sending new litigation contracts to clients. Will provide copies of petitions to insurance adjusters when applicable. Calendar all meetings - deadline for defendants answers/deadline for defendants discovery responses/deadline for responding to misc. motions [Motion to Dismiss, MSJ, etc]. Meet with clients to review and respond to discovery requests. Update needles software with case information and litigation updating [trial dates/mediation dates/defendant answer/opposing attorney info/mediator info/scheduling order]. File petitions with courts and secure service on defendants. Review case files and work with attorneys on issues. Prepare files for depositions/mediation/trial. Prepare and respond to various motions and pleadings. Update and document any subrogation liens. Obtain reductions to facilitate settlements. Utilize Pro-Docs for document preparation and e-filing. Must have personal injury experience.
