Family Law Paralegal Duties: Maintain client documentation, including debt and asset inventories, witness affidavits & child support worksheets. Prepare & review discovery documents, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories & production requests. Schedule appointments and maintain assigned attorney(s) calendar(s), including consultations, pertinent deadlines and trial dates. Conference with the attorney(s) to review cases, determine the need for additional documentation and establish a list of trial exhibits. Assist with court filings & billing invoices. Communicate with potential and existing clients, perform necessary follow-up in a timely manner, with minimal supervision. Encourage and facilitate positive co-working relationships. Maintain a professional & tactful demeanor while attending to client needs. Qualifications: Degree &/or paralegal certification preferred. 5+ years of family law experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office365 applications. Experience with Clio a plus. Strong written & verbal communication skills. Display proficiency & attention to detail when drafting/filing subpoenas, responses & motions. Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork.
