Legal Secretary Litigation The candidate will be assisting attorneys in all aspects as requested but not limited to Inputting Edits into a Wide Variety of Legal Forms, Pleadings, Discovery Requests, Responses, and Correspondence. Arranging Documents in the Proper Legal Format. Updating and Maintaining Case Files. Lifting Bankers Box (Approx. 25 Lbs). Receiving Clients and Meeting Set-Up and Breakdown. Client Communications/Relations. Copying/Faxing Documents. Travel Research and Arrangements. Handling Confidential Personal Matters. Coordinating Meetings. Phone Coverage. ECF Filing and Service. Follow-Up and Communication with Team. Should have 2+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary. Must have excellent Typing, Spelling, and transcription Skills, strong Computer Skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in creating Table of Authorities (TOAs). Experience in creating Table of Contents (TTOCs. Must have excellent Proofreading Skills/ Attention to Detail. Must know about Standard Office Methods and Equipment. Must have the ability to Maintain Strict Confidentiality, manage time, and tasks effectively, and have solid Interpersonal Skills. Ability to Stand for various amounts of time while Assembling Materials and Files Necessary for Conferences, Depositions, or Court.
