Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Duties: Management of case load of 50 plus medium to large case files in a deadline-driven environment. Heavy interaction with clients. Thorough gathering, review, organization and summation of medical records. Preparation of comprehensive settlement demand packages. Prepare discovery requests and responses. Prepare accounting of settlement proceeds and settlement documents. Compilation of mediation submissions, deposition preparation binders, and trial notebooks. Coordination of efforts between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and other parties. Scheduling depositions and meetings. Provide trial support.
Qualifications: A four-year degree from an accredited institution. A paralegal degree or certificate. Prefer 5+ years' experience as a litigation paralegal. Ability to work and prioritize in a fast paced work environment. Be detail oriented and possess superior writing skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Comfortable with technology and practice management software, experience with Trial Works is a plus. Experience electronic filing with the Courts. Must be dependable, and detail oriented.
