Real Estate Transactional Legal Secretary This candidate will support a group of 4 attorneys in the corporate/real estate and advertising practice groups. Will assist with commercial real estate transactions and general administrative functions. Will: Schedule appointments, answer attorneys calls, open and sort mail, make travel arrangements. Maintain calendars and track deadlines for work partners. Enter attorneys time, process expense reports and invoices. Coordinate monthly billing process with accounting. Review and process billing edits and assist with the final monthly billing process. Prepare, redact and redline legal documents. Assist corporate/real estate attorneys with due diligence coordination and tracking. Assist corporate/real estate attorneys with document production related contracts/closings; Assist attorneys with the preparation of due diligence and closing binders. Assist corporate/real estate attorneys with the formation and modification of corporate transactions in various states and other related entity tasks associated with complex organizational structures. Manage filing systems both electronically and physical files for the corporate/real estate and advertising practice groups. Organize client meetings, conference call and video conferences. Other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and paralegal certificate preferred. Should have 3+ years of corporate/real estate transactional experience with a strong understanding of the commercial real estate process. Ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team in a deadline driven environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning various other programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate both with internal and external clients.
