This large international New York law firm founded in 1934 has established a full-service presence. Clients include large corporations and individuals as well as small and medium-sized businesses. Senior Financial Analyst, Attorney Compensation Duties: Manage the annual attorney compensation and promotion processes. Provide valuable insight on attorney compensation decisions and present findings to Senior Leadership. Ensure accuracy of attorney compensation and capital general ledger accounts. Own the annual budget and monthly forecast process and provide insights on any variances to Senior Leadership ad hoc attorney performance and compensation modeling. Support capital contribution process and capital loan group billing program. Calculate individual equity partner post-retirement benefit payments annually and prepare ad hoc projections for partners upon request. Analyze and identify opportunities to automate and improve aspects of the firm's compensation and promotion processes to streamline and create efficiencies. Prepare cash flow analysis for new and lateral Partners. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 7+ years of related work experience, preferably at a law firm or professional service company. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to analyze large amounts of data, summarize conclusions and make recommendations to Senior Leadership. Preferred legal industry experience. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Comfortable in a face-paced, evolving, and changing environment. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
