Title Curative Specialist Duties: Grade and clear title. Follow up on late title work. Assist with locating abstracts. Order deeds and follows up on delivery timelines. Order title updates and buyer name searches. Maintain curative portfolio. Proactively cure titles in a timely manner. Train others on curative process. Communicate accurately and concisely with the client, vendors, and county offices. Upload all communications/curative documents to TESS and 3rd Party Systems. Keep notes in various systems up to date to ensure clear visibility into the status of the file. Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates degree, Bachelors Degree, and/or Paralegal Certification, is preferred. 2+ years experience in Foreclosure, Title Curative, or Title Review. Understanding of both basic and advanced title concepts. Ability to identify title issues and formulate curative solutions. Comprehension of various title curative methodologies. Recognize effects of various curative issues on title; i.e. tax liens, probate, missing interests, legal description defects, etc. Basic understanding of foreclosure procedures and documentation. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Prior experience with Mortgage and Legal Software. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
