Legal Secretary Workers Compensation The candidate will be handling cases from intake to resolution and maintain office procedures. Will independently and assign duties to a legal secretary. Meet clients and review case status and explain benefits process. Initial client contact / intake and initial review with attorney. Obtain authorization and set medical appointments. Calendar hearings / depositions, process mail. Phone and email contact with clients, claims adjusters, medical providers and attorneys to resolve conflicts. Monitor client's medical requests when required; process UR / IMR. Responsible for scanning, filing, ordering supplies and other office functions. Must preferably have 5 years of experience. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English. Requires working knowledge of Workers Compensation law. Knowledge of A1 Law and word is helpful.
