Personal Injury Case Manager / Attorney The candidate will review, assist, and direct Case Manager team in regard to their docket. Will be required to carefully monitor, encourage, and support Case Management staff in regards to client contact and Prelit checklist compliance during treatment phase of each injury case. Assist law firm management and attorneys in staff assessment and training. Continually audit cases in treatment, verification, and negotiation stages of pre-litigation. Assist, audit, and manage Prelit Case Managers and Verification staff with medical and billing records, with a careful and critical eye. Review draft demand packages prepared by Prelit staff. Assist and manage Prelit staff with reductions on medical bills, liens, and subrogation claims. Assist Lead Attorneys and manage Prelit Staff in negotiating TOP settlement results, plus discuss options and settlement/release authority with clients. Provide regular staff and case status reports to our attorneys and management staff. Should have 1+ year of experience in handling personal injury cases, either as a case manager, paralegal, or attorney. Management experience is required, but it is also preferred if have handled every aspect and successfully resolved a large number of personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase. Personal injury law experience working a Plaintiff's personal injury docket, preferably with primary concentration on car and truck accidents and premises liability cases. Experience dealing with statute of limitation issues required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Should preferably have 5+ years of experience as an Attorney - preferrably with personal injury law experience. Extensive management experience desired. Experience with the "Needles" case management system preferred. Experience with medical malpractice and/or nursing home neglect/abuse cases desired.
