This boutique New York law firm has lawyers that serve institutional and industrial clients in areas such as e-commerce, intellectual property, manufacturing, utilities, labor and employment, environmental, real estate development, financial services and entrepreneurial business. Attorneys work together in a team oriented environment and receive relatively competitive salaries.
Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Attorney The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience focusing on the area of Data Privacy & Cybersecurity. Will advise clients in all industries on a wide variety of data privacy and cybersecurity matters, including matters under federal and state data privacy and security laws. Will participate in HIPAA compliance activities, investigate and respond to data breaches, respond to enforcement actions, will be actively involved in litigation management, and be an active member of the firm s Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Team. Should have Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, experience in Government Investigations, Healthcare and/or Litigation is preferred. Should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Must have Admission to the Rhode Island Bar. Admission to the Massachusetts, New York and/or Connecticut bars a plus. Must have top academic and transactional credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
