Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate would have 2+ years of experience working in a law firm setting doing personal injury work. A Bachelor s Degree and/or the successful completion of an accredited paralegal program is a plus. This position requires the ability to multi-task, prioritize, follow direction in detail and coordinate all functions of a case with the attorney. While maintaining professionalism and excellent client-relations skills, paralegals are expected to manage all aspects of a case including, but not limited to, primary contact for all involved parties, use of case management system, evaluation of medical records and investigation, and preparation of court and settlement documents. Primary responsibilities include assisting with all phases of litigation, knowledge of local rules, managing cases from start to finish, reviewing medical records and drafting medical chronologies, drafting and responding to discovery, drafting pleadings and demand letters, research, interviewing witnesses, direct work and preparation of clients, assisting with intake and case evaluation, and organizing focus groups.
