Supervising Attorney, Litigation The candidate will be responsible for managing the attorneys and employees of the Litigation Department. Will be responsible for the development, forecasting and managing of the department P&L. Utilize expert legal knowledge and experience as necessary to manage the litigation process on behalf of clients, and to actively manage and develop existing and potential business. Manage Employees and P&L responsibility. Assist with other duties and special projects as needed Bachelor Degree with a JD degree from an accredited law school is essential. Must have 8+ years of litigation/courtroom experience (foreclosure experience is a plus). Member of the state Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements is essential. Subject matter expert in field is essential. Must be proficient in performing legal research and writing. Must be proficient in taking defending depositions. Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, as well as correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters. Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw is essential. Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Must have strong written and verbal communications skills.
