Personal Injury Paralegal Duties: Primarily a Personal Injury Law firm, but also practice law in social security, criminal, medical malpractice and workers compensation. Preparation of Correspondence - to clients, adjusters, opposing counsel and witnesses. Prepare settlement demand letters. Scheduling - Hearings, Depositions, Mediations, Doctor conferences. Qualifications: 5+ years Personal Injury experience. Experience in Trial Prep (exhibit preparation, coordinate witness appearance at trial, coordinate trial prep conferences with clients and witnesses). Experience in opening files and closing files including disbursement schedules. Experience in Medicare/Medicaid compliance issues and medical terminology. Knowledge in Client Profiles a bonus.
