Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation and must be able to work independently and multi-task, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The position requires knowledge of New York State and Federal Court electronic filing procedures; knowledge of New Jersey filing procedures is a plus. High proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Assisting attorneys and paralegal in drafting of legal documents (pleadings; demands; motions, trial brief, correspondence, etc.) and document production. Organize and electronically file documents with New York State, New Jersey State, and Federal courts; Billing; Data Entry; Book travel ,answering Phones, General in-office support (scanning, copying, faxing, etc.). Must be civil defense litigation firm with high profile clients. Must have at least 3 years of Litigation Legal Secretary experience. Must have 3 years of pqe.
