Bilingual Immigration Paralegal Duties: Management of immigration cases as assigned by attorney. Responsible for working with attorneys in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of various immigration and nationality law applications and petitions. Advance knowledge of the procedures and documentation required for cases to be filed successfully. Work with clients to gather the necessary information and documentation in a timely manner. Prepare forms according to information received from clients. Prepare letters and other documents on behalf of the employer/client. Monitor the status of all filed applications and petitions. Monitor attorney calendar, including their appointments, as well as client related information. Monitor attorney assignment reports and keep information up-to-date. Maintain both paper & electronic client information. Must be able to maintain confidential information. Keep abreast of current regulations and procedures relating to filing applications. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of immigration paralegal experience in a family based immigration law environment (Adjustment of Status, Waivers, Consular Processing, Various types of Citizenship, etc.). Ability to prepare NIV and IV petitions. Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), INSZoom is a plus. Proven track record of managing multiple cases simultaneously. Capacity to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively within all levels of a clients organization. Excellent time management, and organization. Solid analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate recommendations for improvement. Able to thrive with minimal supervision and direction. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others. Willingness to accept responsibility and show good judgement, initiative, and resourcefulness.
