Seeking a Health Law attorney with 3+ years of experience. Candidate will counsel hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health providers, disability service providers and licensed professionals and represents many non-profit, public, and for-profit health care organizations, including some of the largest hospital systems in New York State. Must have 3+ years of relevant experience dealing with Federal and New York State health law regulatory issues (such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, the False Claims Act, similar state laws) as well as transactional matters (such as preparation, review and negotiation of contracts and corporate documents for healthcare providers). Stellar academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Experience in non-profit and tax exemption issues, administrative proceedings, or in reimbursement/compliance issues for health systems, hospitals, long term care providers, managed care organizations, or medical groups is a plus.
