Senior Immigration Paralegal The candidate will provide overall support to the attorneys. Will assist attorneys with immigration deportation cases and complex family based immigration petitions. Organize and analyze information and files. Maintain the Firm s litigation calendar. Draft letters and court documents. Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, exhibit lists, and appeals to US Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Draft legal applications for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Thoroughly research laws and judicial decisions about current as well as past cases. Communicate with clients by providing updates and gathering information in English and Spanish. Draft letters to clients in Spanish. The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Certification as a trained paralegal with 5+ years of experience. Previous experience as a paralegal with an immigration law firm needed. Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing). Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with immigration client management/forms software such as Law Logix, INSZoom, EImmigration, Immigration Tracker essential.
