Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate will file and serve Workers Compensation documents. Prepare medical record addendums for Doctors' Letters. Schedule depositions and med-legal evaluations. Prepare proofs of service. Use EAMS System. Use an automated, paperless software system. Perform formatting, editing letters and documents. Organize diaries. Be familiar with Workers Comp legal terminology. Copy records for evaluations. Maintain file base. Should preferably have a High school diploma or equivalent. Must have 2+ years of experience in legal research and legal case management, and 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Outlook. Must be proficient with Excel, Word, and general office equipment, dependable and can work independently under minimal supervision with strong attention to detail and have good communication skills, reliable, punctual, and has reliable transportation. Must have excellent grammar and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and have a professional and positive attitude; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
