Family Law Associate Attorney The candidate will draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, memorandum, discovery responses, and prepare for and attend depositions. Will prepare trial materials, manage discovery requests and responses, and coordinate with the firm's team to effectively manage a robust caseload. The associate will prepare and appear for court appearances including scheduling conferences, pretrial conferences, mediations, and motions hearings, in Maryland District and Circuit Court. Typically, the position requires frequent travel out of the office, and throughout Maryland, and the candidate must have reliable transportation. Must have uris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Should be Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar of Maryland. Experience in litigation, preferably family law and personal injury or alternatively, a strong drive to learn and master the requirements for the position. Should have 2 years of experience in litigation, preferably family law and civil litigation. Judicial law clerks are strongly encouraged to apply. Should highlight experience with: post-graduate litigation, Maryland Electronic Court filings, discovery practice, and motion practice, if applicable.
