Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be involved in research on multiple cases and projects, helping to prepare immigration filings and directly assisting clients. A Bachelors degree required. Exceptional writing skills required. Spanish fluency strongly preferred. Prepare immigration petitions and applications under the supervision of an attorney. Draft cover letters to USCIS and U.S. consulates abroad. Draft employer support letters and client statements accurately according to information received from clients. Draft correspondence to clients and interact with clients to collect documents. Undertake legal research. Manage files and electronic case file management systems. Write blog articles about changes to the immigration law and bureaucracy. Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the firm by improving processes. Backup phones and occasional administrative work. Run reports, develop and use checklists from various case types.
