Legal Secretary The candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. Responsible for document preparation, editing; file maintenance and client billing. Work for five timekeepers, time entry, electronic filings, pleadings, and processing mail. Client contact in person and over the phone. Travel arrangements and reimbursements. Handle administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information. These duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature. Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. The candidate should have 5 years of legal experience in a mid to large sized law firm and be proficient in legal secretarial and administrative tasks including document preparation, filing, time entry, expenses, telephone contact, travel arrangements and calendar maintenance. Must be familiar with local court rules. Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook (including utilization of styles and formatting), Excel and PowerPoint is highly regarded. Strong typing skills are a plus. Should have excellent written and oral communication and solid organizational skills.
