Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will do title and survey review for commercial real estate loans and other commercial financing transactions. Manage and review due diligence, including closing checklists, lien and litigation search reports, organizational documents, zoning letters, and insurance certificates. Draft and review ancillary loan documents, including UCC financing statements, closing certificates, authorizing resolutions, and closing instructions letters. Preparation of documents for formation and dissolution of corporations, limited partnerships and LLCs. Knowledge of the relevant federal, state and local filings, forms and processes. Manage preparation and filing of UCC documentation and research. Assist with special projects as needed. Bachelor's degree/NC paralegal certificate with 2-3 years commercial real estate experience in a mid or large-sized law firm is preferred. Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills required. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines required. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
