First Party Insurance Attorney Duties: Represent clients in litigation against their homeowner s insurance company. Involves motion practice, litigation, deposition and trial skills. Work hard to negotiate and settle cases. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Qualifications: Relevant experience is preferred. Ability to handle a high volume of cases. Be prepared to conduct depositions and hearings very early on. Previous first property insurance litigation experience preferred. Very strong Oral Advocacy skills. Ability to manage high case load and volume. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
