Legal Secretary The candidate will format and proofread transcription that has been digitally transcribed and edit legal documents for correct grammar and punctuation. Schedule and coordinate depositions, medical examinations and other court designated hearings. Act as a liaison between client and attorney by furnishing and requesting information as needed to assist in completion of administrative reports as required by client or assigned by office management. Draft routine correspondence. Assist attorney with trial preparation, including preparation of trial exhibits. 1-3 years of legal secretary workers' compensation defense experience and EAMS filing preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word required. Tech savvy with the ability to learn and become proficient in using case management software required.
