Associate Attorney - Labor & Employment Candidate will be an integral member of one of the region's leading labor and employment practice teams, which provides a full spectrum of L&E legal and advisory services to local, regional and national employers in both the public and private sectors. Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Texas Bar is required; New Mexico Bar is a plus. 2+ years of substantive experience in L&E matters, including litigation. A federal district court or circuit court of appeals clerkship is also a plus. Management defense side experience with legal research, analysis and drafting of complex memoranda, motions and briefs in the context of employment disputes. Strong employment litigation skills, including trial and pre-trial experience, as well as experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions and counseling clients on employment issues. Bilingual English/Spanish skills and ties to El Paso are desirable.
