Senior Paralegal The candidate must have Bachelor s Degree in any subject with strong academic credentials. Should have 5+ years of experience working in a law firm or legal department of a corporation handling U.S. patent matters, docketing, and portfolio management. In-depth knowledge of patent prosecution rules and procedures (ability to navigate the USC, CFR, and MPEP) is preferred. Familiarity with client docketing systems (e.g., Lecorpio, Anaqua, Foundation IP, CPI, etc.), and both private and public United States Patent and Trademark Office s (USPTO) Patent Application Information Retrieval system, and foreign patent offices databases and websites is desired. Extensive experience with various applications, including MS Office, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is preferred. Ability to review correspondences from USPTO and foreign associates and prepare reporting letters to clients; ability to prepare budgets and cost estimates for clients; ability to prepare patent family trees and status reports; ability to prepare due diligence charts and track documents; and ability to review and maintain docket preferred.
