Case Editor/Paralegal, Workplace and Campus Investigations Responsibilities: Assist multiple attorneys by managing their caseload of investigations from start to finish, including: Managing documents in a document management system (both hard-copy and electronic); Scheduling witness interviews; Proof-reading and formatting investigative reports; Coordinating delivery of reports and supporting documents to clients; Performing document retention/case closure-related responsibilities; Create first draft of portions of investigative reports for attorney review, which will include: Synthesizing, collating, organizing and reviewing large amounts of information and data (including witness interview notes, emails and other documentary evidence); Drafting written sections, chronologies and charts. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Political Science, highly desired. Strong writing skills and the ability to think analytically are required. Previous law firm experience, including exposure to different types of legal writing, desired. Be able to adjust to an ever-changing work day. Must thrive in a fast-paced, collegial environment. Strong writing and analytical skills are essential to this position. Must be: Self-motivated; collaborative and team-oriented; flexible; dependable; detail-oriented; focused; organized; ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines; strong writing skills; and, comfortable working in a small team environment.
