Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will file complaints in all GA jurisdictions (including via mail and online filing systems). Arrange for and oversee personal service of filed complaints. File all litigation filings and documents into electronic litigation folders, maintain original hard copies of certain documents (original discovery, official deposition transcripts). Coordinate with clients to prepare responses to written discovery requests, including getting pertinent information from clients, including treatment status, doctor appointment information, changes in medical care and/or work status, documents and records information, and the like. Schedule and arrange for court reporters to conduct depositions of clients, defendants and fact witnesses; maintain calendar of same. Refer legal issues to the appropriate attorney(s). Support Firm attorneys and staff with various duties for Personal Injury cases to facilitate and expedite service to Firm clients. Litigation experience required. Experience working cases in a personal injury legal office is preferred. Strong time management skills required. Must be able to multi-task and handle tasks quickly and tactfully with all levels of Firm personnel and the public. Excellent organizational skills required. Strong client service skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Previous litigation experience is required.
