Appellate Attorney (Associate) The candidate involves representing veterans of the U.S. Armed Services in appeals for VA disability benefits before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Responsibilities Include: Case record analysis, brief writing, oral argument and building a working/conversational knowledge of veterans and federal administrative law; Appellate motion practice, electronic filing of necessary documents and appeals; Occasional travel to Washington, D.C., legal conferences, and bi-annual team meetings. Should have 1-3 years experience. Should be licensed attorneys.
