Appellate and Law and Motion Attorney The candidate must have 2+ years of experience with CA Bar admission. Should know how to draft motions and oppose motions as well. Should preferably know how to: prepare writs and appeals; draft appellate briefs, as well as other appeal documents; draft or oppose discovery motions; draft or oppose demurrers and motions to strike; draft or oppose motions for summary judgment; do legal research; and draft meet and confer letters. Must know the evidence code and rules relating to discovery and objections; the dates, timing, and deadlines for motions, writs, and appeals; proper citation formats; and CCP and CRC.
