Litigation Paralegal Duties: Produce in high stress environment. Lead teams towards departmental goals and add value for closing out cases and maximizing settlements for clients. Assist with answering the phone lines, as needed. Assist with all phases of pre-litigation and litigation. Manage litigation deadlines and respond to subpoenas. Draft discovery. Manage litigation holds and e-discovery. Manage E-Filings in State and Federal Courts. Organize case files electronically and maintain detailed case logs. Client Facing Engagement. De-escalation concerning Client Care. Work in Team Environment for Client & Company Success. Requirements: College degree or comparable paralegal experience is required; paralegal certificate from ABA accredited paralegal program is preferred. 3+ years' (preferred) of experience providing paralegal litigation support to attorneys. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with various case document management systems. Strong written and verbal communications skills, multi-tasking, attention to detail, problem-solver mentality in handling various case issues. Desired Skills & Experience: Proficient in personal injury law, including drafting pleadings. Proficient in preparing discovery responses. Proficient in E-filing court documents. Proficient in monitoring and calendaring hearings, docket entries, and other required court deadlines for Attorney. Exceptional client management skills on the phone, in person, and via emails. Proficient in Case Management Software. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Detailed oriented and professional attitude. Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation.
