Family Law Paralegal Duties: Revolve around drafting pleadings, legal documents and speaking with clients. Be asked to answer the phone and assist in getting the client to the right attorney or responding to their questions. Qualifications: Experience in Family Law is preferred and knowledge of Texas civil and family procedural rules is ideal. Experience in preparing and drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal documents. Experience using Westlaw Form Builder (Prodoc) is ideal. Must possess strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Strong proofreading and revision skills. Ability to track and log your billable hours daily and the attorneys.
