Associate Attorney The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans. Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys. Must have Admitted to practice in Maryland and/or Virginia and all federal bankruptcy courts. Admitted to practice in other states a plus. Should have experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research. Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision. Should have 3+ years of bankruptcy experience representing debtors or creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. Must have the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume environment as well as have the ability to professionally communicate with clients, work both independently and as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service. Chapter 11 experience and Adversary matters experience a plus.
