Litigation Paralegal The candidate collects, analyzes, organizes and maintains factual information and documents, both electronically and hard copies, in accordance with correct legal practice and procedure. Must have 5+ years experience working as a litigation paralegal in a large law firm (from case development to initial pleadings through discovery, trial and post-trial practice), shall possess formal and extensive training as a paralegal, shall have extensive trial, mediation and arbitration experience, shall possess thorough knowledge of state and federal court systems and procedures and laws relating to evidence and trial practice, shall be certified ( CLA ) as designated by the National Association of Legal Assistants; must possess excellent communication, organizational, research and technical skills. Construction litigation experience is a plus. Must be member of appropriate professional organizations (Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc., National Association of Legal Assistants and Legal Assistant Management Association). Florida Registered Paralegal.
